The Central Valley Educators Foundation, the philanthropic partner of the Fresno Teachers Association, is dedicated to enhancing teaching and learning across Fresno and the Central Valley. Primarily funded by the generous contributions of FTA members, our mission is to support educators in their vital work, empower students to achieve their potential, and foster partnerships that strengthen our schools and community.
What We Do
Our initiatives focus on three core areas: supporting students through scholarships and grants, equipping educators with resources and professional development opportunities, and collaborating with community organizations to create thriving educational environments. Together, we are building a brighter future for our region.
Our organization is fully funded by our members, who include educators, social workers, counselors, and school nurses. All of our organizational activities are supported by a portion of our membership dues.
From our educator training programs and student resources to our community initiatives, each effort we undertake has the singular purpose of equipping educators to cultivate in students the lifelong love of learning and innovative drive that enriches communities.
Meet the Team
Our advocacy for educators and initiatives to improve education in our local communities are rooted in our many years within the educational sector. As educators, volunteers, and concerned members of our community, we all work together to ensure our communities become places where education and progress are possible for all.
